Grant is setting out on a tour of the Netherlands this week and next so be sure to make it along to one of the performances along with a screening of Johnny Cash live in San Quentin (see below). Please check your local box office for details of performances.
The release of ‘A Brief History of Things to Come’, an 8 track digipak CD consisting of tracks from Grant’s first three albums will be on sale at all tour date venues.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THINGS TO COME
(Netherlands Release only)
Presenting a selection of tracks from Grant Campbell’s
3 previous long players ‘A Brief History Of Things To Come’ is a summary album which will be released exclusively in The Netherlands on Oct 5th 2009 to accompany the release we shall embark on a tour of independent cinemas throughout The Netherlands.
Each evening will commence with a solo performance from Grant followed by a screening of the 1969 classic rock documentary: Johnny Cash ‘Live at San Quentin’.
We hope to create an interesting, slightly unusual & ultimately entertaining evening and felt that cinema theaters would make for a perfect environment for our first ever stop off in The Netherlands.

We have posted a live living room performance of ‘Expecting Great Things’ and hope to have a few more videos to post over the coming months.
Plans to play a few shows in the Netherlands underway and looking at dates in September. We will of course post dates and further details as and when they are confirmed.

Since we have had quite a few requests we have put up Grant’s version of ‘All the Pretty Little Horses’ that was recorded for ‘The Burrowers’ film which was recently released on DVD.

‘Expecting Great Things’ has received a glowing 4/5 review in The Skinny.
Monday 6th April will see the release of ‘Expecting Great Things’ both online and from various independent shops around the UK.
Grant will be performing songs from the new album at the Liquid Ship, Glasgow on Sunday 12th April. Doors are 7.30pm and tickets £5.
‘Expecting Great Things’ has been chosen as album of the week on the Iain Anderson Show on BBC Radio Scotland.
Just a reminder that Grant will be crossing over the border on Friday 27th March to open for the wonderful Diana Jones in Nottingham.
Doors are 7pm and since there is a curfew (10.15pm) be sure to get there early to catch his set. The new album ‘Expecting Great Things’ will be available to buy on the night.
